Egypt, Croatia sign MoU for improved trade ties

Egyptian Prime Minister and Croatian Prime Minister Andrezi Prenkovia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Egyptian Investment and Free Zone (GAFI) and the Croatian Ministry of Economic Development. The agreement aims to improve cooperation between the two countries in various investment sectors.

The MoU was signed by Jassar Abbas, the deputy CEO of Gafi, and Tomislav Boujak, Croatian ambassador to Egypt. The signing ceremony highlights the two countries’ commitment to fostering deeper economic ties and new investment opportunities.

Prime Minister Madbouly emphasized that the deal should promote bilateral investment, improve the overall investment environment and provide essential support services to investors. He found that the memorandum reflects a common vision of economic growth and aims to build a strong and sustainable partnership between Egypt and Croatia.

On the sidelines of the event, Abbas confirmed his authority’s commitment to strengthening investment ties with Croatia. He emphasized that the debate had focused on expanding cooperation in recent months, which led to this formal agreement with the Croatian Ministry of Economy.

Abbas also highlighted the role of the private sector in promoting economic growth, finding that the MOU will promote more cooperation between businesses in both countries.

The agreement includes provisions to improve cooperation in all critical investment areas, with structured plans to organize mutual visits between business delegates in Egypt and Croatia. Masu. These visits will allow for direct discussion, promote play-match-match matches and develop a comprehensive roadmap for investment opportunities.

Abbas concluded that this exchange of expert knowledge and information contributes to unlocking the new economic outlook of both countries.
