Hong Kong’s Neosun Energy enters Kenyan market

Hong Kong-based energy solutions provider Neosun Energy has taken a significant step in its efforts to provide solutions by announcing its entry into the Kenyan market. Electricity is very beneficial and beneficial to Africa’s economy and trade.

Neosun plans to offer solar energy solutions to businesses that need reliable and affordable energy, with capacities ranging from 200 kW to 10 MW.

Kenya has become a leader in renewable energy in Africa, meeting more than 80% of its electricity needs with green energy.

Neosun aims to solve the country’s ongoing energy supply problems, especially in remote areas where businesses face unreliable power supplies and high electricity prices.

With millions of people in Sub-Saharan Africa lacking access to reliable electricity, the need for alternative solutions is more urgent than ever. Neosun’s involvement is expected to provide businesses in the agriculture, manufacturing, storage and industrial sectors with cost-effective and efficient solutions, thereby reducing operating costs, restoring confidence and increasing productivity.

Neosun Energy CEO Ilya Likhov spoke about the company’s commitment to supporting local businesses in the transition to renewable energy.

“Neosun Energy’s mission is to provide affordable, accessible solar energy to businesses. As the Kenyan government transitions away from fossil fuels, we believe solar and storage will enable local businesses to make this transition while also increasing their revenues,” he said.

Neosun’s solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions are designed to ensure reliable energy supply, increase economic efficiency and support economic growth. Beyond the economic benefits, Neosun’s growth in Kenya is expected to have a transformative impact on surrounding communities and provide opportunities for the development and commercialization of solar energy.
