The Egyptian Engineering Export Council (EECE) has announced a historic milestone by showing a 21.6% growth in engineering sector exports in the first 11 months of 2024. This growth reflects the international expansion and competitiveness of the Egyptian engineering industry.
The EECE monthly report showed that engineering exports increased by 12.5% to reach 451 million USD in November 2024, compared to 401 million USD in November 2023. Exports have increased in Asia in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Azerbaijan and Qatar, while African markets such as Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda have also announced that Egypt’s export demand for engineering. products have increased.
The Chairman of the Egyptian Engineering Export Council, Sharif El-Sayyad, spoke about the export potential of Egypt’s engineering sector and emphasized the need for more investment in local production and global expansion. He praised the economic development strategies implemented by the Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, saying that the continued success of these strategies is key to the country’s goal of exporting $145 billion worth of goods by 2030.
As part of its efforts to promote the sector, EECE will organize a conference titled “The Future of Exports in the Egyptian Engineering Sector” on January 13, 2025. Other good leaders.
